BEL Probationary Engineer Selection Process 2025
The selection for BEL Probationary Engineer Recruitment 2025 is a two-stage process designed to evaluate candidates’ technical knowledge and overall suitability. The final merit will be based on the combined performance in both stages.
1) Computer Based Test (CBT)
The first stage is an online Computer Based Test of 120 minutes duration, comprising 125 questions (100 Technical + 25 General Aptitude & Reasoning). Each question carries 1 mark, with a negative marking of ¼ mark for wrong answers. The minimum qualifying marks are 35% for General/OBC/EWS and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. The CBT carries a weightage of 85 marks.
2) Interview
Candidates shortlisted from the CBT in a ratio of 1:5 will be called for an interview. The interview carries a weightage of 15 marks. The final selection will be based on the combined scores of the CBT (85 marks) and the Interview (15 marks).
Bharat Electronics Limited Probationary Engineer Salary 2025
Selected candidates for the post of Probationary Engineer will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 40,000 – 3% – 1,40,000. In addition to the basic pay, they will be entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Conveyance Allowance, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Medical Reimbursement, and other perks.
The approximate Cost to Company (CTC) is around Rs. 13 Lakhs per annum. Selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond of Rs. 2,00,000 to serve the company for a period of 2 years.
