1) India ranked 131st in the WEF Global Gender Gap Index 2025 among 148 countries.
➨ India slipped two ranks from 129th in 2024.
➨ Overall gender equality score: 64.1%
➨ India has the lowest economic participation parity in South Asia at 40.7%
➨ Iceland tops the index with 93.5%.

2) The 10th meeting of the NITI Aayog Governing Council focused on the theme “Viksit Rajya for Viksit Bharat@2047,” aiming to promote cooperative federalism and align state-specific development goals with national objectives.

3) Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of responses (1,41,150) in the ‘Jan Man Survey’ launched on the NaMo App to mark PM Modi’s 11 years in office.
