10) The Union Finance Ministry introduced a one-time switch facility allowing central government employees to shift from the Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) to the National Pension System (NPS).

1) नीलगिरि श्रेणी के स्टील्थ गाइडेड मिसाइल फ्रिगेट INS उदयगिरि और INS हिमगिरि को एक साथ भारतीय नौसेना में शामिल किया गया। INS उदयगिरि पूर्वी नौसेना कमान में और INS हिमगिरि पश्चिमी नौसेना कमान में शामिल हुआ। यह रक्षा क्षेत्र में आत्मनिर्भरता के लिए भारत के प्रयासों को दर्शाता है।

6) भारतीय भारोत्तोलक मीराबाई चानू ने अहमदाबाद में 2025 राष्ट्रमंडल भारोत्तोलन चैंपियनशिप में कुल 193 किलोग्राम भार उठाकर कई नए रिकॉर्ड स्थापित करते हुए स्वर्ण पदक जीता।
7) हवाई में किलाउआ ज्वालामुखी 22 अगस्त को फिर से फटा, जिससे 100 फीट ऊँचे लावा के फव्वारे निकले, जो दिसंबर 2024 के बाद से इसका 31वाँ विस्फोट था।

9) इसरो ने गगनयान क्रू मॉड्यूल के लिए डिज़ाइन किए गए पैराशूट सिस्टम को मान्य करने के लिए श्रीहरिकोटा, आंध्र प्रदेश में अपना पहला एकीकृत एयर ड्रॉप टेस्ट (IADT-1) सफलतापूर्वक किया।

13) केंद्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल (सीआईएसएफ) ने मध्य प्रदेश के बरवाहा में प्रशिक्षित अपनी पहली महिला कमांडो इकाई शुरू की है, जिसे उच्च सुरक्षा वाले स्थानों पर त्वरित प्रतिक्रिया दल (क्यूआरटी) और विशेष कार्य बल (एसटीएफ) में तैनात किया जाएगा।
14) भारत की शार्वरी सोमनाथ शेंडे ने कनाडा के विन्निपेग में आयोजित विश्व युवा तीरंदाजी चैंपियनशिप 2025 में अंडर-18 महिला व्यक्तिगत रिकर्व स्पर्धा में स्वर्ण पदक जीता।
15) पर्यावरण, वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय ने पेरिस समझौते (2015) के अनुच्छेद 6.4 के तहत कार्बन उत्सर्जन व्यापार तंत्र को लागू करने के लिए राष्ट्रीय नामित प्राधिकरण (एनडीए) की स्थापना की है।
