Delhi Police Constable Driver Selection Process

The Delhi Police Constable Driver recruitment will include multiple stages starting with a Computer Based Examination conducted in English and Hindi, covering general awareness, intelligence, numerical ability, and vehicle maintenance topics. Candidates scoring above the category-wise cutoffs will be shortlisted for the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test. Successful candidates in PEMT will undergo a trade test to assess driving skills and vehicle knowledge. Final selection is based on aggregate performance and medical fitness.

  • Computer Based Examination (CBE): 100 questions for 100 marks covering General Awareness, General Intelligence, Numerical Ability, and Road Sense/Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT): Running, long jump, and high jump with specified standards.
  • Trade Test: Practical driving test for Light and Heavy Motor Vehicles and knowledge of traffic rules and vehicle maintenance.
  • Medical Examination: Vision 6/6 (better eye), 6/12 (worse eye), no colour blindness

The Delhi Police Constable Driver Exam Pattern 2025 helps candidates understand the subjects, marks, and duration of the Computer Based Examination (CBE). The written test will be objective type with multiple-choice questions. It will be held in English and Hindi and is the first stage of the selection process. Negative marking of 0.25 marks is applicable for each wrong answer.
