IN-SPACe Young Professional 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
The educational qualifications vary by directorate. Key requirements are summarised below:
Technical Directorate (Downstream) – 01 Post, Ahmedabad Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Science/Engineering. Minimum 1 year experience preferably in Geospatial/Space technologies. Desirable: Ph.D. or PGDM/MBA.
Technical Directorate (Upstream) – 02 Posts, Ahmedabad Essential: Engineering Degree (BE/B.Tech.) in Electronics/Mechanical/Aerospace/Computer Science. Minimum 1 year experience in space or allied engineering sector. Desirable: M.E./M.Tech., Ph.D. or PGDM/MBA.
Promotion Directorate (International Outreach) – 01 Post, Bengaluru Essential: Master’s Degree in Public Policy, International Relations or MBA with focus on International Business. Minimum 2 years experience in coordinating with foreign missions or multilateral organizations.
Promotion Directorate (Academia Outreach) – 01 Post, Bengaluru Essential: Engineering Degree (B.Tech/M.Tech.) in Aerospace, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 2 years experience in academic administration or organizing technical competitions such as CANSAT or Rocketry.
PMA Directorate (Program Management) – 01 Post, Ahmedabad Essential: BE/B.Tech. in Electronics, Communication, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Data Science or Aerospace Engineering. Minimum 3 years experience preferably in space technology domains.
