Indian Navy SSC IT Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions to apply for this executive IT branch position.
Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
Gender: Both Men and Women are eligible.
Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates can apply.
Date of Birth: Candidates must be born between 02 Jan 2001 to 01 Jul 2006 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in English in Class X or XII and:
- BE/BTech/MTech/MSc in CS/IT/Cyber Security/AI/Data Analytics/Software Systems, etc. OR
- MCA with BCA/BSc (Computer Science/IT)

Indian Navy SSC IT Jan 2026 Training and Terms of Service
Selected candidates will be inducted as Sub Lieutenants and will undergo training at INA, Ezhimala.
- Training: 6-week orientation followed by professional training.
- Tenure: Initial service of 10 years, extendable up to 14 years (10+2+2) based on performance and service requirement.
- Marital Clause: Candidates found married before or during training will be disqualified and must refund expenses.
