Eligibility Criteria for SSC JE 2025

To apply for SSC Junior Engineer 2025, candidates must satisfy the following eligibility conditions:

Nationality

A candidate must be:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, or
  • A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries.

Educational Qualification

  • For JE (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical): Degree or Diploma in Engineering relevant to the post.
  • Experience: Required for certain posts in BRO and MES (2 years post-diploma experience in the relevant field).

Age Limit

Maximum age: 30 years (for most departments)

CPWD & CWC: Up to 32 years

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years

The selection process for SSC Junior Engineer 2025 is done in three stages:
