AAI Kolkata Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must ensure they meet the prescribed eligibility conditions before applying.
Educational Qualification
Graduate Apprentice: Full-time, regular 4-year B.E./B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent stream recognized by AICTE.
Diploma Apprentice: Full-time, regular 3-year diploma in Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication or equivalent stream recognized by AICTE.
Passing Year: Candidates must have passed their Degree/Diploma in 2023 or later.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 26 years
Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.
Domicile: Only Indian nationals having domicile of West Bengal are eligible to apply.
Other Conditions:
Candidates who have already completed or terminated apprenticeship training elsewhere, or have more than 1 year of job experience after qualification, are not eligible.

AAI Kolkata Airport Apprentice Selection Process 2026
The selection will be based on the following stages:
- Provisional Shortlisting: Based on the percentage (%) of marks obtained in the essential Degree/Diploma qualification.
- Interview / Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and document verification via their registered email ID.
- Final Selection: Will be based on interview, verification of certificates, and submission of a Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.
