The Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD), Lucknow has announced vacancies for Cooperative Development Officers (CDOs) on a contractual basis at its Centre for Professional Excellence in Cooperatives (C-PEC). Eligibility Criteria for NABARD BIRD CDO Recruitment

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply:

CDO Level-1

• Qualification: Graduate in Economics/Commerce/Management/Agriculture/Computer Applications.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in cooperative institutions. Preference for candidates with IT/Cooperation training and hands-on experience in digital cooperative tools, IEC material development, and training programs.

CDO Level-2

• Qualification: Postgraduate in Economics, Commerce, Management, Banking, etc. M.Phil/Ph.D. preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years in cooperative/rural/agricultural finance. Preference for experience in research, digital cooperative platforms, and training.

Age Limit (As on 1st January 2025)

• CDO Level-1: Max 50 years
• CDO Level-2: Max 62 years

• Certification & standardization of cooperative training
• Organization of seminars and workshops
• Data management and cooperative research
• Client and stakeholder engagement

• Contract Duration: Initially 2 years, extendable up to 4 years based on performance
• Termination Clause: One-month notice by either party

• Annual Increment: Up to 5% based on performance
