The selection procedure varies depending on the post applied for.
- Scientist ‘C’: Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview; a qualifying written test may also be conducted, but the final merit list is prepared purely on interview marks.
- Scientific Assistant ‘B’ and Technician ‘B’: A qualifying written test followed by a trade test; the final merit list is based on trade test marks only.
- Assistant Administrative Officer – I: Written exam along with review of APAR (Annual Performance Appraisal Report).
- Lower Division Clerk: Written test followed by a qualifying typing skill test; merit list is based on written test marks among those who clear the skill test.
- Security Guard A: Qualifying physical fitness test followed by a written test; merit list is based on written test marks.
