UPSSSC Excise Constable Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates who are interested in this recruitment must go through the eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification, age limit, physical standards, and PET qualification. Only those candidates who meet the eligibility conditions will be considered for the Main Examination.
Educational Qualification
As per the Uttar Pradesh Excise Constable, Driver and Tadi Supervisor Service Rules, 1983 (as amended), candidates must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) examination from the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Government.
Preference
Other things being equal, preference will be given to candidates who:
- (a) Have served in the Territorial Army for a period of two years, OR
- (b) Possess a ‘B’ Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
